Terms & Conditions
The terms for our website, quotes, energy supply and installations.
Scope
These terms apply to all quotes, agreements and services offered by NRGEA through nrgea.be. By using the website, requesting a quote or signing a contract you accept these terms. Where they conflict with the contract documents you sign, those contract documents prevail.
Our services
NRGEA supplies green electricity at a fixed rate and installs and maintains solar panels, home batteries, heat pumps, charging stations and insulation, with energy advice and guidance. The exact service, rate, term and technical specifications are set out in the quote and contract you sign beforehand.
Quotes and prices
Quotes are non-binding and valid for three months. Prices include 21% VAT unless stated otherwise. Changes in taxes, levies or network tariffs imposed by the government or the grid operator are passed on as set out in your contract. If the information you provided (consumption, roof surface, orientation) turns out to be incorrect and this changes the price or feasibility, we may revoke the quote.
Contract and cooling-off period
The agreement is concluded once both parties have signed, or once you order via the website and we confirm this in writing. You have fourteen calendar days after signing to cancel free of charge and without giving reasons. If we have already performed work at your express request within that period, the cancellation is limited to the services not yet performed.
Rate and invoicing
Your rate per kWh is fixed for the full duration of the contract and is indexed once a year at the pre-agreed indexation — not with movements in the energy market. We invoice monthly via the payment method you provided; you pay within the term stated on the invoice. In case of non-payment a first reminder follows and then a second reminder with additional costs, in accordance with the law. We always respect the protection of customers in energy poverty.
Liability
NRGEA is liable for direct damage resulting from an error or negligence in performing the agreement, within the legal limits. We are not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, loss of profit or loss of data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the relevant contract year.
Intellectual property
All content on the website — texts, images, logos, videos, code and calculation tools — is the property of NRGEA or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. Copying, distributing or reusing it requires our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.
Complaints and disputes
Complaints can be sent to info@nrgea.be; we answer within ten working days. If you do not reach a solution, you can contact the Consumer Ombudsman Service (www.consumentenombudsdienst.be) or, for energy disputes, the VREG. Belgian law applies exclusively to this agreement; disputes belong to the courts of the Antwerp district, unless consumer law provides otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. Changes that materially affect your rights or obligations are announced at least thirty days in advance by e-mail or a notification in your customer file. If you entered into a contract under the previous terms, those terms continue to apply to that contract until it ends.
